CEOCFO Magazine Interviews CareTrack Co-Founder Andrew Mills

CEOCFO Magazine editorial executive Bud Wayne interviewed CareTrack co-founder Andrew Mills about the company's story and the problem it set out to solve.

In the conversation, Mills traces CareTrack's origins to 2015, when he was working in the EHR industry and saw that patients with two or more chronic conditions accounted for the overwhelming majority of Medicare spending, yet primary care practices had no practical way to support those patients between appointments. He describes founding the company alongside co-founders Derek Skinner and Susan Tice, both former Greenway Health executives, and the early pivot that defined CareTrack: after interviewing primary care practices, the team realized physicians did not have the staff to run yet another software application, so CareTrack became a tech-enabled service instead of a standalone app.

The interview also covers how CareTrack operates as a practice extension, coordinating chronic care management and remote patient monitoring inside the practice's existing EHR workflow.
